COVID-19: Update for Master’s programmes applicants

The ESPOL campus is currently closed to help limit the spread of coronavirus and our team are currently working remotely.

We know that these last several weeks have been stressful. We understand that these are trying times: it may be difficult for you to look ahead and plan your future study programme. If you intend to start studying in September 2020 and are considering ESPOL, we are at your disposal to answer all of your questions and assist your during the application process.

We would like to reassure any current or prospective applicants that we are processing applications as usual.

This FAQ offers the answers (as far as possible) to the most frequently asked questions. Please see below for updates regarding the current situation.

When will I know if ESPOL will be able to offer in-person education again in September 2020?
We are monitoring the developments in France closely and will take action as needed, according to the guidelines set by the French government. For the time being, the government is sticking to the beginning of September as the start of the academic year.

Has the application deadline for programmes starting in September 2020 been extended?
The application deadlines for Master’s programmes will remain the same, i.e. 15 June 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 measures, I will not be able to take an English test required for my registration. What should I do?

To meet the needs of students who are unable to take an English test in a centre due to the current situation, ETS is temporarily offering a TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test. In the meantime, please fill out your application as far as possible according to the current procedure. Also, please check whether your test centre offers the possibility to take the test online, as some centres do or are planning to do.

I cannot send the hard copy of my documents, what should I do? :

As we are working remotely, we are unable to process hard copy documents. We instead accept your digital application documents sent to apply.espol@univ-catholille.fr.

Is ESPOL still considering applications from International students?

Yes, we will continue to give equal consideration to all applications regardless of where you are from or where you live. If you have any questions, please get in touch with our Admissions team by e-mail: oliwia.baran@univ-catholille.fr.  We will update our FAQs as soon as new information becomes available. We are committed to supporting you and ensuring that the admissions process continues as smoothly as possible. Please, complete your application as far as possible and contact our Admission officer for any specific question: oliwia.baran@univ-catholille.fr
