[PAPER] French Politics on Twitter: Upcoming conference paper at EPSA 2019

François Briatte will present a paper at the 9th annual conference of the European Political Science Association (EPSA) in Belfast, 20-22 June 2019.

The paper, which is co-written with economist Ewen Gallic from University Aix-Marseille, is about how we can measure the left-right political positions of French Twitter users, including politicians, journalists, and members of the general public.

A previous version of the paper, along with its appendix, can be read on François Briatte’s website. The replication material for the paper, which uses a method elaborated by Pablo Barberá of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), can be found on the GitHub social coding website.
